Job description

UpSlide is the document production layer for financial services

We orchestrate LLMs, machine learning, and workflow agents within Microsoft 365 to deliver reliable, quality outputs in the most efficient and cost-effective way. As a Microsoft Solutions Partner, with 14+ years supporting financial services teams, we bring together expertise from the tech, finance and design fields to help clients like KPMG, BNP Paribas, Rothschild & Co. boost productivity while improving brand consistency across their corporate documents.

We are a certified B Corporation, upholding the belief that businesses should have a positive impact on society.

Our values ✨

Our values guide our approach to work and are at the heart of our recruitment process. To join our team, we look for individuals who value:

  • Excellence: We think that every detail counts, and we place great importance on the quality of our deliverables.

  • Trust: We are passionate, committed, and free to act with autonomy.

  • Happiness at work: We enjoy looking on the bright side and we share our enthusiasm with our colleagues and clients.

The team 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

UpSlide is a productivity platform for Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) built for financial professionals in investment banking, private equity, asset management and advisory. Product Marketing sits at the centre of Product, Sales and Marketing: we decide how UpSlide is positioned, priced and sold.

You'll join as our Head of Product Marketing, reporting directly to Matteo Bordin, our Chief Product Officer.

You'll manage one PMM and over time grow your team.

Day-to-day, you'll work closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing leadership. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll set direction and still get into the work.

Team goals 🎯

Product Marketing's job is to make UpSlide easy to understand, easy to sell, and priced right. Concretely, that means:

  • Sharpen positioning and messaging so prospects grasp the value fast.

  • Arm Sales to win, especially against direct competitors.

  • Own pricing and packaging decisions and the reasoning behind them.

  • Run customer communications that drive adoption and expansion.

The impact on the business is direct: higher win rates, stronger pricing power, shorter sales cycles.

Your responsibilities 🖋️

Positioning & narrative (25%)

  • Own UpSlide's positioning and messaging across segments and personas.

  • Turn product capabilities into a clear story that resonates with financial professionals.

  • Keep messaging consistent across the website, sales materials and campaigns.

Sales enablement & competitive intelligence (25%)

  • Build the enablement that helps Sales qualify, pitch and close: decks, battlecards, objection handling and one-pagers.

  • Own competitive intelligence: track competitors, brief the business, keep our differentiation sharp.

  • Partner with Sales leadership on win/loss analysis and act on what it tells you.

Pricing & packaging (20%)

  • Own pricing and packaging: structure, tiers, and the logic behind them.

  • Run the analysis and make clear recommendations to the exec team.

  • Support Sales on deal-level pricing and commercial strategy.

Customer communications (15%)

  • Own how we communicate with customers: launches, releases and lifecycle comms.

  • Drive adoption and expansion through clear, well-timed messaging.

Team leadership (15%)

  • Lead, coach, and grow the PMM you’ll manage.

  • Set priorities and hold a high bar on output.

Your goals ⚡

First 3 months: Learn the product, customers and competitors in depth. Build relationships with Sales and Product. Audit our current positioning, pricing and enablement, and tell us where the gaps are.

By 6 months: Ship a refreshed positioning and messaging framework. Stand up a repeatable competitive intelligence rhythm. Deliver a first pricing and packaging recommendation.

By 9 months: Have an enablement program running that measurably improves win rates, pricing changes live or in flight, and a customer communications cadence the business relies on.

As UpSlide grows, this role can grow into broader marketing leadership. We'll back you to get there.

Job requirements

You are a great fit if you have:

  • Significant experience in enterprise B2B sales: you've either carried a quota in complex, high-value deals or worked hand in hand with sellers who do. This is a must.

  • A proven product marketing track record: positioning, messaging and sales enablement that moved the needle.

  • Experience owning or heavily influencing pricing and packaging decisions.

  • People leadership experience: you've managed and developed marketers.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, and the judgement to write for an exec audience.

We'd love it if:

  • You've worked in or sold to financial services: investment banking, private equity, asset management, or advisory.

  • You know the Microsoft 365 / productivity software space.

  • You speak French (not mandatory)

✨ If you don't tick all the boxes but you think you'd be a great fit, please apply and tell us why.

Recruitment process

  • First screening with our Talent Acquisition team (30 to 45 min, phone or video): mutual fit and motivation.

  • Manager interview with Matteo Bordin, CPO (45 min to 1h30, video or in person): product thinking and experience.

  • Peer interview with a peer from Product, Marketing, and Sales (~45 min).

  • Case study with Matteo and a Product peer (45 min to 1h30): a deeper problem worked through together.

🚀 We'll conduct a reference check to learn how to help you thrive!
