Job description
UpSlide is the number one productivity solution provider for financial services. Our software dramatically improves the functionality of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Power BI and enables users at firms like Citi, KPMG, and BNP Paribas to focus on high-value tasks rather than formatting or copy-pasting. We’re scaling up with 160+ employees across our offices in New York, London, Paris (HQ), Singapore, and Berlin.
Our values ✨
Our values guide our approach to work and are at the heart of our recruitment process. To join our team, we look for individuals who value:
Excellence: We think that every detail counts, and we place great importance on the quality of our deliverables.
Trust: We are passionate, committed, and free to act with autonomy.
Happiness at work: We enjoy looking on the bright side and we share our enthusiasm with our colleagues and clients.
The team 🧑🤝🧑
You will join the Refine team, part of UpSlide's Product organisation. It brings together Product, Engineering and Design, and reports to Matteo Bordin, our Chief Product Officer.
You will work day to day with engineers, designers and finance domain experts, and directly with our customers in investment banking, advisory, asset management and private equity.
Our rituals include roadmap and sprint planning, product and design reviews, discovery syncs, agent-quality reviews and regular retros, alongside team lunches and socials
Team goals 🎯
UpSlide helps finance professionals produce high-quality work in PowerPoint, Excel and Word. The Refine team brings AI into that work: agents and workflows that refine financial deliverables like pitch decks and financial models to the standard expected inside a leading financial institution. Done well, this raises the quality and speed of everything our customers produce, and makes UpSlide the place finance teams do their most important work.
Your responsibilities 🖋️
Own the AI agent and workflow roadmap (~45%)
Define and ship AI agents that refine financial deliverables: pitch decks in PowerPoint, financial models in Excel, and supporting Word documents.
Own the agent library end to end: scope new agents, prioritise, and improve existing ones based on usage and quality.
Discovery with finance users (~25%)
Work directly with users in investment banking, advisory, asset management and private equity to understand their real workflows (comps, DCF/LBO, CIMs, teasers, IC decks).
Turn how the best analysts actually work into product.
Output quality and evaluation (~20%)
Build the evaluation and QA loop that holds agent output to the standard of a top financial institution: golden datasets, quality checks, regression testing, and methodology and formatting review with domain experts.
Cross-functional delivery and go-to-market (~10%)
Partner with Engineering, Design and go-to-market to ship, launch and drive adoption, and feed what you learn back into the roadmap.
You will work with LLMs and AI tooling, the UpSlide platform and its Microsoft 365 add-ins, product analytics, and tools like Notion, Figma and Linear/Jira. You will also prototype ideas yourself, including vibe-coding quick prototypes.
Your goals⚡
In your first 3 months, you will ramp on UpSlide, the Refine team, our current agents and workflows, and our users. You will take ownership of the AI agent library roadmap and ship your first improvements.
By 6 months, you will have shipped new agents for priority financial deliverables (decks and models) with a working evaluation and QA loop, and shown measurable gains in output quality and adoption.
By 9 months, you will own a growing, trusted agent library that drives adoption and retention, with clear metrics on quality, usage, and impact, and a repeatable process to add and refine agents.
At UpSlide, we have a career path to help you grow, whether that means deeper product ownership or leading a team over time.
Pay and benefits:
Salary range covers multiple career levels and will be refined during interviews based on experience: €65-70k base + 20% intéressement.
Job requirements
You are a great fit if you have:
Shipped AI-native products end-to-end in production (not just wrappers), and can walk us through concrete examples.
Around 4 to 8 years in product management, owning discovery through to delivery, with strong prioritisation and a track record of outcomes.
Strong product discovery instincts: you talk to users, encode their real workflows into product, and decide from evidence.
Fluent English (C1 or above).
Comfort with PowerPoint and Excel, and an understanding of how finance teams build decks and models.
Ownership and autonomy: you operate independently and drive ambiguity through to shipped outcomes.
This is a Paris-based, hybrid role with around 2 remote days per week.
We’d love it if:
You have worked in or close to finance, for example investment banking, financial advisory, asset management or private equity.
✨ If you don’t tick all the boxes but you think you’d be a great fit, please apply and tell us why.
Recruitment process
First screening with our Talent Acquisition team (40 min, phone or video): mutual fit and motivation.

Peer interview with a peer from Product, Product Marketing, and Engineering (~45 min).

🚀 We'll conduct a reference check to learn how to help you thrive!
⚡ On average, our process lasts 3 weeks.
