Get ready to dive into our dynamic Product Team, led by our CPO and backed by a talented crew including 1 Head of Product, 4 Product Managers, 1 Technical Product Manager, 1 creative Product Designer, and 2 savvy Product Marketing Managers! We’re lucky to work with a strong team 30 engineers.

As our Principal Product Designer, you’ll work with any of our 5 Product x Engineering squads. Some of the latest releases our designers worked on:

Your responsibilities 🖋️

  • Design of new features flow 50%

    • Deliver high-quality, intuitive cross-platform design for financial services that reflect UpSlide's premium positioning

    • Develop a strategic UX vision for AI-powered features and innovative capabilities to maintain our leadership as the best Office Add-in

    • Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with Product Designer, Product Managers, Product Marketing Managers, and Engineers as a trusted thought partner

    • Create and test advanced Figma prototypes with comprehensive usability testing

    • Animate co-creative workshops (ideation, design reviews, design critique, etc.)

  • User research 30%

    • Drive user insights through research, competitive benchmarking, and data analytics

    • Maintain user personas and journey maps to influence the overall UX across all touchpoints

  • Operations 20%

    • Drive design excellence and process improvement across the organisation, collaborating with peers and stakeholders to achieve positive product impact and enhance ways of working

    • Support the design system by documenting components, participating in strategy development, and promoting internal alignment

Product team stack: Figma, Notion, ProductBoard, Microsoft 365 (we build on it!)

Job requirements

You are a great fit if you have:

  • +8 years of work experience including significant B2B Software experience

  • Shipped high-quality designs that enhance product experience

  • Detail-oriented expertise in UX, UI, and visual design, capable of delivering production-ready assets for development with precision

  • Meaningfully worked on, or with a design system

  • Some knowledge of Microsoft Office (we build on it!)

  • Great written and verbal communication skills in English and French to communicate with different stakeholders

  • You want to build a productivity tool used daily by thousands of users

We’d love it if:

  • You experienced the pain of building perfect slides or Excel models in a previous job

  • You experienced building AI-powered products

  • You’ve worked in Financial Services or Banking

Pay and benefits:

The annual salary package for this role in Paris is €60,000 - €70,000. This salary range is inclusive of several career levels at UpSlide and will be narrowed during the interview process based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
