We are a certified B Corporation, upholding the belief that businesses should have a positive impact on society.
Our values ✨
Our values guide our approach to work and are at the heart of our recruitment process. To join our team, we look for individuals who value:
Excellence: We think that every detail counts, and we place great importance on the quality of our deliverables.
Trust: We are passionate, committed, and free to act with autonomy.
Happiness at work: We enjoy looking on the bright side and we share our enthusiasm with our colleagues and clients.
The team 🧑🤝🧑
You'll be joining the People Ops team, reporting to the Head of People Operations, alongside a Senior Payroll Specialist and a Project Manager. Together, you'll drive HR administration, payroll, and process transformation across a 200-employee, multi-country scope.
Team goals 🎯
Build a reliable, well-documented People Ops foundation (Lucca, processes, payroll) that scales with UpSlide's headcount and geographic footprint
Deliver a smooth, professional onboarding and offboarding experience across all our markets, protecting UpSlide's employer brand and legal compliance
Free up the Senior Payroll Specialist and Head of Ops to focus on higher-value payroll and strategic HR work by owning day-to-day administration end to end
Your responsibilities 🖋️
HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle – 35%
Own new-hire processes end to end (liaising with the Talent Acquisition team, contracts, health insurance, Swile, complete administrative file)
Independently manage departures (end-of-contract documents, final settlement, certificates, checklists)
Ensure the reliability and continuous upkeep of employee records in Lucca (HRIS)
Administer employee benefits (health insurance, provident scheme, mobility benefits, meal vouchers)
Contribute to preparing variable payroll elements and pre-payroll checks (working alongside the Senior Payroll Specialist)
Onboarding / Offboarding Coordination – 25%
Organize and coordinate the global onboarding process (scheduling, tools, integration journey, interface with the Talent Acquisition team and managers)
Act as the operational point of contact for new hires during their first months
Structure and strengthen offboarding processes (multi-country), ensuring documentation compliance
3. Employee HR Support – 25%
Handle employee requests through the ticketing tool (certificates, HR documents, questions on internal policies)
Contribute to keeping HR documentation, templates, and processes up to date on Notion
Take part in global HR reporting and audits (data reliability, document preparation)
4. Finance Administration Support – 15%
Review expense reports (accuracy, compliance with internal policies)
Provide administrative support to the Finance team (supporting documents, various filings)
Contribute to the proper administrative management of company-funded benefits
You will also take part in the company's internal life and may be involved in cross-functional HR transformation projects (process redesign).
Your goals ⚡
In your first 3 months, you will fully ramp up on our tools and stakeholders (Lucca, ticketing tool, Notion, Talent Acquisition, Finance), and take ownership of onboarding/offboarding coordination for new joiners and leavers.
By 6 months, you will independently manage the full employee lifecycle administration (arrivals, departures, benefits) across our multi-country scope, with reliable, up-to-date records in Lucca.
By 9 months, you will have contributed to at least one cross-functional HR transformation project (e.g. process redesign or payroll upgrade), and be a trusted point of contact for employees and the Finance team alike.
Job requirements
You are a great fit if you have:
A Bachelor's to Master's degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in HR, Payroll, Labor Law, or equivalent
Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role (generalist HR administration and/or payroll), ideally in a multi-site environment
Good command of an HRIS (ideally Lucca) and French payroll fundamentals (filings, contributions, variable elements) – experience with Silae or similar payroll software is a plus
Rigor and autonomy, with the ability to manage a large volume of files in parallel
A service mindset, discretion, and strong interpersonal skills (direct interface with employees)
Comfort working in English (occasional exchanges with the UK/US/Singapore teams)
Prior experience in an international or multi-agreement environment is a plus
We’d love it if:
A first experience in a fast-growing / scale-up environment, where processes evolve quickly
An appetite for continuous process improvement (we're mid-transformation, so someone who enjoys structuring and documenting is a real plus)
Familiarity with Notion or a similar HR documentation tool
✨ If you don’t tick all the boxes but you think you’d be a great fit, please apply and tell us why.
