UpSlide is the number one productivity solution provider for financial services. Our software dramatically improves the functionality of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Power BI and enables users at firms like Citi, KPMG, and BNP Paribas to focus on high-value tasks rather than formatting or copy-pasting. The team 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

You will be an integral part of the dynamic and collaborative UpSlide Singapore office, working alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about transforming the way people work with Microsoft Office. We are currently a close knit team of 8 (BDRs, AEs, Consultants). You’ll be working closely with senior consultant Laura and head of professional services Marta as part of a global team of over 30 professional services and success team members.

Your responsibilities 🖋️

Delivery (70%)

  • Analyze and define our APAC customer's needs and requirements

  • Manage the installation and configuration of UpSlide from scratch on a Microsoft platform

  • Apply good project management practices to ensure projects remain within the timeline and scope

  • Support other team members in the SG office (or internationally) on large/complex projects

Advisory Services (10%)

  • Give advice to clients and share best practices

  • Work with colleagues to design the solution, if needed, to provide in-depth technical solutions to clients

  • Identify future opportunities within the account and pass the information across to the relevant sales or pre-sales contact within UpSlide

Client Relations (10%)

  • Handle client relations through effective communication throughout the project duration

  • Lead requirement gathering scoping meetings

Product Knowledge and Contributions (10%)

  • Submit valuable feedback and feature requests

  • Support the product team on client insights where required

  • Create Zendesk articles and videos for the UpSlide user community

Your goals ⚡

  • Advise, build, and deliver to our clients improved workflows and productivity software

  • Become an expert in the UpSlide tool and industry whilst delivering your own client projects and supporting Senior Consultants on more complex ones

Job requirements

You are a great fit if you have:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a client facing setting

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel

  • A client-centric mindset as you consider their long and short-term needs

  • The ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and with clients

  • A growth mindset with business objectives top of mind

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you are a confident communicator with the ability to explain things in a clear and concise manner

  • The ability to switch contexts quickly and easily, managing multiple priorities at the same time

  • Natural problem-solving skills

  • Great attention to detail

  • Experience handling customer escalations

  • An interest or experience in financial services

What your onboarding will look like 🚀

CONSULTANT (1-3 years of relevant experience)

Your journey with UpSlide kicks off with our 4-month onboarding program. This well-structured period is here to make sure you feel fully supported and set up for success.

  • Month 1-3: Initially, you spend time meeting the global teams and absorbing their knowledge through a variety of sessions. Around month 3, you'll start gaining hands-on experience through smaller, client-facing projects, and you’ll serve as a key support on larger projects alongside a more senior consultant. By the end of this phase, you'll have a strong foundation of the knowledge you'll need in your role.

  • Month 6: At this stage, you’ll have the knowledge and skills to independently run projects and tackle almost all client questions. Equipped with deep knowledge, confidence, and independence, you’ll now be handling projects autonomously and acting as a trusted advisor to our clients.

  • Month 9: At month 9, the level of complexity of projects you are allocated may increase. With support, the expectation is you would take this in your stride. Alongside your project work, we also expect you to start carving your niche as a consultant in the team; Where are your skills best placed? What can you bring to the global function?
