Job description

UpSlide is the #1 productivity solution for financial services. Our software dramatically improves PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Power BI - enabling teams at Citi, KPMG, and BNP Paribas to focus on high-value work instead of formatting or copy-pasting. We're a profitable, self-funded scale-up with 160+ employees across New York, London, Paris (HQ), Singapore, and Berlin.

Our values ✨

Our values guide our approach to work and are at the heart of our recruitment process. To join our team, we look for individuals who value:

  • Excellence: We think that every detail counts, and we place great importance on the quality of our deliverables.

  • Trust: We are passionate, committed, and free to act with autonomy.

  • Happiness at work: We enjoy looking on the bright side and we share our enthusiasm with our colleagues and clients.

The team 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

You will be an integral part of the dynamic and collaborative UpSlide team, working alongside experienced professionals passionate about transforming how people work with Microsoft Office. You'll be working directly with Ava, VP Sales for the US team, alongside Enterprise and SMB AEs.

Why we're different from other sales teams?

We strive to make UpSlide the best place to work in your career. Here are a few reasons why our sales team is different:

  • We're trusted advisors to our prospects and clients — our goal is to always provide value by having meaningful conversations and acting in their best interest

  • We thrive off working as a team — we know that working together and sharing knowledge is the best way to drive us forward

  • Continuous improvement and development — we always look to improve our skills, add creative aspects to our work, and adapt to the market around us

The role

We're looking for a Senior Enterprise BDR to join our New York team and own the top-of-funnel motion on enterprise accounts across North America (US & Canada). You'll work hand-in-hand with our Enterprise AEs on strategic account plans, targeting C-suite and MD-level buyers at investment banks, asset managers, PE firms, and Big 4 firms.

You’ll be working directly with Ava Ghosseiri, our VP Sales in the US.

Team goals 🎯

Our team goals are centered around expanding our market reach and establishing strong connections with key clients across North America. As a Senior Enterprise BDR, you'll play a crucial role in researching industries, executing targeted outreach campaigns, and securing meetings with senior executives at investment banks, asset managers, PE firms, and Big 4 firms. Your contributions will directly impact our business growth and the effectiveness of our sales efforts across the US and Canada.

Your responsibilities 🖋️

We're looking for an outstanding Senior Enterprise BDR — energetic, strategic, and determined. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing, profitable, and self-funded scale-up and own the top-of-funnel motion on enterprise accounts across North America.

You'll work hand-in-hand with our Enterprise AEs on strategic account plans, targeting C-suite and MD-level buyers. We leverage smart strategies and channels to deliver high-impact results.

  • Conduct deep account research and identify enterprise prospects across North America

  • Work closely with Enterprise AEs to build strategic account maps and coordinate outreach across buying groups

  • Develop creative and compelling outbound messaging tailored to senior financial services audiences

  • Define and implement intelligent multi-channel outbound campaigns — email, phone, LinkedIn, events, and more

  • Secure and lead initial meetings with C-suite, COO, CFO, and MD-level executives

  • Lead discovery calls to understand prospects' processes, challenges, and priorities

  • Continuously test and iterate on messaging, targeting, and sequencing to improve efficiency

  • Informally support and mentor junior BDRs on the team

Your goals ⚡

  • Familiarize yourself with UpSlide's solution and complete a comprehensive onboarding plan

  • Hit 20+ qualified enterprise meetings per quarter through self-sourced outbound pipeline

  • Take full ownership of outbound campaigns, showcasing creativity to optimize efficiency and effectiveness

  • Hold high-value conversations with senior executives from day one

What your onboarding will look like 🚀

Your journey with UpSlide kicks off with our 4-month onboarding program, designed to set you up for success from day one.

  • Month 1 — Meet global teams, learn our target market, sales cycle, product, tech stack, and prospection strategy

  • Month 2 — Start reaching out to prospects with team support, build a strong foundation of market and product knowledge

  • Month 3 — Refine skills through practice and roleplay, source high-quality prospects, and lead intro calls with support

  • Month 4 — Independently source, engage, and nurture prospects, and lead high-value conversations with confidence

Job requirements

You are a great fit if you have:

  • 2+ years in outbound B2B SaaS business development - full-time (not internship)

  • A demonstrated track record of self-sourced pipeline on enterprise or mid-market accounts

  • Experience targeting and engaging C-suite or MD-level buyers from first contact

  • Exposure to financial services (investment banking, asset management, PE, Big 4, or adjacent) — not required to be a sector expert, but can't be starting from zero

  • Active use of AI tools in your prospection workflow

  • Proficiency with enterprise sales tools: Salesloft, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, LeadIQ

  • Based in NYC, able to work onsite 3 days/week

  • Skills in line with our values: Excellence, Trust, and Happiness at work

We'd love it if:

  • You're familiar with UpSlide's competitive landscape or the broader productivity/automation SaaS space in financial services

  • You can articulate how UpSlide positions against alternatives in an outreach or discovery context

  • You are fluent in another language than English

If you don't tick all the boxes but you think you'd be a great fit, please apply and tell us why.

Salary:

  • The annual salary ranges from $75K to $90K OTE. This range is inclusive of several career levels at UpSlide and will be narrowed down during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications

  • As an UpSlide employee, you will also be given free shares after one year with us
