Our software dramatically improves the functionality of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Power BI and enables users at firms like Citi, KPMG, and BNP Paribas to focus on high-value tasks rather than formatting or copy-pasting. The team 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

You will be an integral part of the dynamic and collaborative French Sales team of 11 people.

You'll be working directly with your fellow BDRs (Margot and William), our account executives, our Field Marketeer, the head of sales, and Margaux, our team lead to our account executives and our BDRs who will also be your manager.

As a Business Development Representative, you'll play a crucial role in driving our success by researching industries, executing targeted outreach campaigns, and securing meetings with senior executives to create new business opportunities. Your contributions will directly impact our business growth and enhance the effectiveness of our sales efforts. We look forward to having you on board to help us achieve these exciting milestones!


Your goals ⚡

  • Familiarize yourself with UpSlide’s solutions and engage in comprehensive onboarding
  • Take ownership of outbound campaigns (cold-calling, cold-emailing, LinkedIn InMails, connection requests), showcasing creativity to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Handle client interactions, contribute to lead conversion, and lead meetings with senior executives


Your responsibilities 🖋️

Mission 1 : Opportunity generation (80% of time dedicated)

As a BDR, you’ll work closely with the Account Executive team to seek out new business opportunities and start meaningful conversations with potential clients in France, Belgium, Geneva, and Luxembourg.

We leverage smart strategies and channels to deliver high-impact results:

  • Conduct market research and identify potential clients
  • Define and implement intelligent outbound campaigns – email, phone, events, and more
  • Secure initial meetings with senior executives and create new business opportunities
  • Cultivate strong relationships with new clients
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
  • Look for opportunities to innovate and optimize lead generation
  • Provide support to the sales team on all aspects of the sales process
  • Work closely with the Account Executive team to strategize on key targets
  • Implement a multi-prong approach to targeting accounts, including emails/phone calls/LinkedIn

Mission 2: Process improvement (20% of time dedicated)

  • Stay up-to-date on key events and trends in the financial services space
  • Identify and expand on synergies between Marketing and other global Sales teams to maximize success rates

Job requirements

You are a great fit if you have:

  • Minimum Master 2 or equivalent from a university or business school
  • An entrepreneurial and determined spirit while being a goal-driven team player
  • An intelligent, analytical, and curious mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French
  • Skills in line with our values: Excellence, Trust, and Happiness at work
  • At least a B2 level in English. UpSlide is an international company with 5 offices worldwide. A lot of internal and client meetings require a good level of English.

Recruitment process 

At UpSlide, our recruitment process is designed to assess your skills, experience, and cultural fit with our team. We believe in transparent communication and providing you with the opportunity to showcase your abilities at various stages. 

Here's our process:

  • A 30’ phone interview with Misbah, Talent Acquisition Specialist
  • Work task to prepare at home to evaluate your written/prospection skills
  • A 45’ interview with your future Manager, Margaux. This interview includes a 10-minute live task.
  • A 45’ interview with Laurie, our Head of Sales. This call will include a role-play.
  • Final interview with Rob [30'], our CRO
